On Innovation:
Every now and then, we keep hearing the word, Innovation, I wonder, what organisations, both Old economy and the New ones, are actually upto in the frame of innovation. New thinking involves, an entirely new stratum of knowledge, not aquisition, but dissipation. Only then the old patterns of thought do dessimate, and something 'realistically' new comes out. When this framework is applied in Functional domains or technical ones, either, INNOVATION HAPPENS. Such an innovation, at Product, Process, Model, level, is independent of time and space, and only needs intellectual clarity to finish it over in consecutive frames, yet to test.

Very soon, companies shall hire pan wala's and chai wala's for Innovation. Perhaps by then, the input for change would be so exorbitant, that the need for such a value innovation would only be met, by out-of-the-box individuals only. :).
Innovation for organisations, should be primarily trans-migrating 'State-Of-The-Mind' of the organisation, as a part, or a whole.
Cheers!!!

Why Innovations:
From Five to a maximum of Nine Products fail, on the R&D Table and cannot see the light of the day - World Bank.

The fundamental need to innovate is to derive value in the present and future state of competition. Exponentially rising demand, massive overheads, rising consumer expectations, are all pulling companies apart from their clothes.

Innovate or perish, is the mantra, even a 4th standard boy rotes, none understand, how, when, what,............... :)

Cheers!!!
